Worrying about what other people think?

“Life is a game of 3 parts. In the frst part, you wonder what people think about you. In the second part, you don’t care what people think about you. In the third and final part, you realise people were never thinking about you anyway.”

Now tell me; how many people do you think of at the end of the day? You think of yourself. Your life. Your dreams. Your family. Your love. You hear the distant train’s signal, and then you are thinking about trains. You think of the new song you heard. The movie you watched.

Do you think about the girl who wore shorts to a family function? Do you think about the love birds romancing in the public place? Do you think about the boy who asked a weird question in the group disussion?

No. You don’t !! You might have remembered some traces of the events that occured that day. But you would definitely forget about these instances by then end of the week.

This is what happens with other people also. Nobody thinks about other people so much. Nor do they have the time to do so.

So, you also stop worrying about what other people might think of you or your actions. And start living life on your terms and conditions. The way you want. And be happy.

Occupy your mind with other valuable thoughts and stop worrying about what other people might think.

  1. I read this quote once that shyness stems from narcissism because you truly believe that people actually give a fig about you. 😂

  2. Interesting and true, something you never realize on your own unless told otherwise. I’m in the second part of this game but after reading this post I think I’ll stay out of this game and I’ll focus on myself.

  3. If we ourselves think what other or people will think about us,then what they will. I think if they think or not we should keep that job for them only and stop being bother about that. Just live ,laugh and keep dreaming, isn’t it?

    1. I agree completely. If we will also think what they will think, we are just doing their job only and unnecessarily worrying us. We should instead laugh, live and dream as you rightly mentioned 😉
